Semi-Automatic Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) is a compact and efficient wastewater treatment system designed for the treatment of domestic sewage generated from residential buildings, apartments, hotels, hospitals, institutions, commercial complexes, industries and other establishments. The plant uses a biological treatment process such as MBBR (Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor), followed by clarification and tertiary filtration as required.
\r\n\r\nThe system is designed to reduce BOD, COD, TSS, organic matter and other sewage pollutants and produce treated water suitable for discharge or reuse applications such as flushing, gardening, landscaping and other non-potable purposes, subject to the applicable consent and reuse requirements. MBBR uses biofilm carriers in an aerated reactor, where microorganisms grow on the media and biologically degrade organic pollutants.
